.
Hello, my name is Clare Graci. I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

By looking for a counsellor you have taken the first, often difficult, step towards getting help.

I understand that choosing the right counsellor will be important for you. With this in mind I offer a free 20 minute telephone or online consultation for an initial discussion. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and make a decision without any pressure or expectation of commitment.

About Me

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering support for those aged 18 and over. My experience includes work at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher and Epsom Counselling Service.

I offer a warm, empathic and calm space where you can feel safe to explore your feelings and the issues that are troubling you. Talking to a counsellor is unlike talking to friends or family as it allows you a confidential space to be listened to and the opportunity to explore your feelings and issues without fear of judgement. It can provide a new perspective on situations as well as the ability to see things more clearly. It is an opportunity to take a step back and see areas for potential change to bring about a more fulfilled way of life and living.

With any therapy the relationship between counsellor and client is key to the effectiveness of the work. I truly believe in the positive effects that counselling and psychotherapy can achieve and work collaboratively with clients in order to build the trust essential for the therapeutic relationship to develop and grow.

I have particular experience of working with bereavement, including complicated grief and disenfranchised grief (a loss not openly acknowledged or recognised by family, friends or society) which may lead to feelings of isolation.

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering support for those aged 18 and over. My experience includes work at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher and Epsom Counselling Service. Alongside my private practice I work as a volunteer for a Charitable Trust, based in Guildford, offering long term counselling for adults.

You may have suffered the loss of an unrecognised relationship or beloved pet, or affected during the pandemic by being unable to access the usual rituals for support and acknowledgement of your bereavement.
